Batteries for Life

“Do you think we’ll need more batteries honey?”

“I think they should suffice our requirement and last a couple of months”

“But I still can’t believe John is doing this to us! We’re his parents!”

“I don’t know what to say. I think it’ll be just you and me and other people like us in the old age home”

“Our son has abandoned us John. I’m so sorry!”

“Why are you being sorry? At least we have each other. And these batteries, which are going to be there to support our hobby. Listening music together and dancing on its beat”

  1. Awww... that use of the batteries in the end is so sweet. The first part more bittersweet because it is a sad truth of so many today, is it not?
