Gosh! How many times will this be told. Good one Geetika!
ReplyDeleteI know.. Thanks Parul :)
DeleteCheers
A sad reality for so many! :|
ReplyDeleteYes, that's sad..!!
DeleteWhy does it happen like this?! :|
The most dreaded biological clock of a career driven woman :(
ReplyDeleteWhy does this happens with women? Sometimes it seems unfair! Doesn't it Ankita?
DeleteAh, that pressure soceity puts on us women. A sad reality, indeed But additionally, she should get a second medical opinion!
ReplyDeleteOf course! But when it comes from the doctor itself, then who is to be blamed or what to say in such a situation?
DeleteAh yes, the solution to every woman's problems is to have a baby. I remember those times, and thank goodness they are no more!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! Not only the solution, but the purpose as well.. again, why?
DeleteWho cares about woman's career... She has to procreate thats all...
ReplyDeleteAnother way of looking at it is the corporates and almost all the professions are not woman friendly. They throw away woman who has taken a maternity break stating she has lost some years and her erstwhile peers have walked ahead of her... In such a situation, what can a woman do? She is just pushed and pulled by societal norms.
That is so unfair Loco! First the society pushes women to procreate and when she does, she gets punished by getting kicked out of the company. It's only her, who is at a loss.. And it sucks!
DeleteTo each his own
ReplyDeleteIf only, people understand this and know their limits!
DeleteSo many women would be able to relate to this. I wonder what I would do.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Red.. Everything would be good and fall in place.. It has to..
DeleteEnjoy your singlehood :)
Cheers
A sad reality! :(
ReplyDeleteYes it is Aditi! But we need to have the courage to fight it, right?
DeleteSo terrible, why can't anybody talk about balance in life!
ReplyDeletePoint well raised Alok! We need more such people around!
DeleteCheers
to think that a doctor would suggest that!!! poor girl!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know.. But doctors do say such things..! And that's where it adds more anxiety..
