Z- Zealous

‘What theme should I choose? Please help. I have no clue!’

I said those lines to almost everyone I met! Narrating the A-to-Z-Challenge, seeking inputs, brain-storming and rejecting every idea they gave me. Of course, that was coupled with some stern remarks about my eccentricity of this whole thing.

A few scheduled posts were a relief, but not for long!

I wanted to quit. Reading, writing, commenting apart from work, was too much to handle.

But a voice inside kept yelling, you can do it! Finish it off and I’ll pat your back later!

And today I couldn’t be any happier!

  1. True. Although I had scheduled post already for all 26 days of the challenge, I found it a little time-consuming to read posts and leave readable comments on them. Cheers Geets! You've earned that pat on your back! :)
And don't worry if you've missed out on any posts, you can always read them in May! :)

  2. Congratulations!! I enjoyed your posts. I was a bit better planned that last year but still I could not read as many and reply to comments..

  3. And wasn't it worth it? :) Congratulations on surviving the challenge! I've enjoyed the journey too!

  4. And wasn't it worth it? :) Congratulations on surviving the challenge! I've enjoyed the journey too!

  5. Well done Geets! I enjoyed your posts and tried to catch as many of them as I could...was going through the same roller-coaster ride of "too much to do-can't do-am quitting-no, but will try" and what now. In the end, I too surprised myself by surviving the challenge!

  6. Congrats and well done. The hard challenges are the worthwhile ones. You survived. So did I!

  7. Well done Geets, you did it and in style! What you said was so true, really tough, but we all got through! Congrats! Lovely connecting with you :)

  10. It's been quite a challenge dabbling with alphabets. I didn't have a theme. Geetika, I love your stories a lot:)

  11. Congratulations to you, you made it despite whatever struggles you had, I too had scheduled a few posts and after that was running around trying to complete my own post and also visiting the other bloggers, I have read a few of your posts, and I liked your writings, all the very best to you, God bless

  12. Yay!!! Many congratulations on completion. You know this was somewhere similar to most of us :D So I can relate to it!!!

  13. That's a clever post to end the challenge! Enjoyed this ride with you and thank you for your support all through the month...will catch you around.

  14. Your zeal kept you going! cool!

  15. Congrats Geetika :) That's an awesome post (as always) to end the challenge :)
Can totally understand, there were days when I really wanted to quit as I had not scheduled any post nor decided a theme :)

  16. Superbly ended Geets, zeal and insanity kept us going and we are done at last :D
Also I am unable to reply to any of ur comments on my blogs for some techie glitch, though you were a daily visitor and thanks for that:) All your comments have been meaningful to me. Now one comment stood out and I wanted to discuss it with you here- the Yudhishtira one :) Hope that's okay.
I believe it is totally fine to ask and question everything one comes across and that is the very basis of Hindu philosophy- to delve for oneself and reach one's truth. I agree fully with you that we accept fully what has happened in the myths but a lot of us do question the actions in there too. I believe the myths are largely historical with some events given a larger than life connotation but the aim of keeping them revived and going on generation after generation is as a mirror to society- the possibilities, the flaws, tragedies and bliss. They abound in lessons for sure. Also many of them are from Vedic times and afterwards our society began to change and shrink and hide away some things due to any number of reasons. Invasions I feel could be one reason which created insecurity. Every change in society comes about due to other changes, so this is where if we are interested we could research, discuss and figure out things Geets. Thanks for that potent and superbly valid comment my dear:)

  17. Congrats on completing the challenge!

  18. why are you picking on a blogger for missing a few days when, by casual observation of his previous posts, it would be obvious that his wife is dying (deceased as of now). Get a life!

  19. A to Z is such a good addiction, isn't it? :D

Thanks for dropping by :)
