Z- Zealous

‘What theme should I choose? Please help. I have no clue!’

I said those lines to almost everyone I met! Narrating the A-to-Z-Challenge, seeking inputs, brain-storming and rejecting every idea they gave me. Of course, that was coupled with some stern remarks about my eccentricity of this whole thing.

A few scheduled posts were a relief, but not for long!

I wanted to quit. Reading, writing, commenting apart from work, was too much to handle.

But a voice inside kept yelling, you can do it! Finish it off and I’ll pat your back later!

And today I couldn’t be any happier!

  1. True. Although I had scheduled post already for all 26 days of the challenge, I found it a little time-consuming to read posts and leave readable comments on them. Cheers Geets! You've earned that pat on your back! :)
And don't worry if you've missed out on any posts, you can always read them in May! :)

  5. Well done Geets! I enjoyed your posts and tried to catch as many of them as I could...was going through the same roller-coaster ride of "too much to do-can't do-am quitting-no, but will try" and what now. In the end, I too surprised myself by surviving the challenge!

Also I am unable to reply to any of ur comments on my blogs for some techie glitch, though you were a daily visitor and thanks for that:) All your comments have been meaningful to me. Now one comment stood out and I wanted to discuss it with you here- the Yudhishtira one :) Hope that's okay.
I believe it is totally fine to ask and question everything one comes across and that is the very basis of Hindu philosophy- to delve for oneself and reach one's truth. I agree fully with you that we accept fully what has happened in the myths but a lot of us do question the actions in there too. I believe the myths are largely historical with some events given a larger than life connotation but the aim of keeping them revived and going on generation after generation is as a mirror to society- the possibilities, the flaws, tragedies and bliss. They abound in lessons for sure. Also many of them are from Vedic times and afterwards our society began to change and shrink and hide away some things due to any number of reasons. Invasions I feel could be one reason which created insecurity. Every change in society comes about due to other changes, so this is where if we are interested we could research, discuss and figure out things Geets. Thanks for that potent and superbly valid comment my dear:)

  18. why are you picking on a blogger for missing a few days when, by casual observation of his previous posts, it would be obvious that his wife is dying (deceased as of now). Get a life!
